AECT Standard 1 - Content Knowledge
1.2 Using:
I've learned to use technological resources and processes to support student learning and to enhance my pedagogy. I've learned different technology integration strategies and have integrated education technology into teaching various lesson plans for third-grade math as well as a variety of other content areas.
1.3 Assessing/Evaluating:
In Edtech 541 i've demonstrated the ability to assess and evaluate the effective integration of appropriate technologies and instructional materials. Throughout this course I was tasked with finding the relative advantage of various technologies and instructional material and finding ways to integrate them into various lesson plans.
AECT Standard 2 - Content Pedagogy
2.1 Creating:
In this course I applied content pedagogy to create appropriate applications of processes and technologies to improve learning and performance outcomes. I implemented different educational technologies based on contemporary content.
2.2 Using:
In this course I implemented appropriate educational technologies and processes based on appropriate content pedagogy. I was able to apply this to my lesson plans to effectively enhance the learning experience.
AECT Standard 5 - Research
5.2 Method:
In this course I applied research methodologies to solve problems and enhance practice. I solved problems by finding appropriate assistive technologies that would help learners with disabilities.
5.3 Assessing/Evaluating:
In this course i applied formal inquiry strategies in assessing and evaluating processes and resources for learning and performance. I was able to apply this strategy while researching the different educational technologies and finding out how they would positively affect student performance.

I've learned a lot throughout Edtech 541 and just like the programs mission i've done an exponential amount of research. I've focused on research that would help me model, promote, manage, and evaluate 21st century teaching and learning resources in third-grade math. This course has enhanced my knowledge in digital media literacies. My plan is to continue to pattern my pedagogical approach to reflect that of participatory culture, professional practice, lifelong learning, and practice in educational technology.

- Model, promote, manage, and evaluate digital-age teaching and learning resources in K-higher education environments,
- Inspire creativity and expertise in digital media literacies,

Edtech 541 has helped me understand and apply effective approaches that promote high levels of student achievement.. It has completely changed and shaped my thought process on how to effectively integrate technology into the classroom. This course has educated me and help me understand that learners all learn in different ways and that it's my duty to help support that learning.
